paragliding school offers immersion training programs for new
pilots who want to learn this exciting and complex sport
thoroughly. These training programs are divided into basic and
advanced courses.
Basic PPG Course
This course will guide the student
from terminology of the equipment through the student's first
solo flight.
Basic PPG Course usually is completed in three days, weather and
student skills permitted. The first two days the student will
learn terminology and maintenance of the complete gear, basic
meteorology (weather to fly), aviation regulations, inflation
techniques (forward and reserve) with a backpack engine, foot
launch techniques on a simulator and ground school on flight
patterns and landing procedures. Once a student has mastered
these techniques and has a clear understanding of the flight
procedures, a third day will serve as the student's dream day
your first solo flight !!
Duration: 3 days (weather and skills permitted) - through
first solo flight
Location: Tampa Bay, Florida USA
Includes: One-on-One instruction, use of all equipment
(PPG, paraglider, harness, radio helmet), radio communication.
